Re: Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switching Models
So, after hours of screwing around I figured out that the 2 rx's are binding in different modes even though the tx flashes twice when either is connected indicating DSMX 22ms. I set the Tx dip switches to each mode manually & found that the 6ch rx will only bind in DSM2 22ms mode even though its...

Re: Manuals for 9XR Pro
Are there any new manuals? the one I have: ER9x_Manual_2015-v01.odt 2015-02-22 has somewhat different menu content than my radio has? I am running R218j firmware.

Re: Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switching Models
Just got off a chat with HK and they suggested trying the ID 1st then immediately rebind each. . He said it should allow to switch between models without rebinding so I'll see if he's correct. Also the instructions for my model Tx module contradicts itself: In SW3 description it says Off is auto &am...

Re: Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switcing Models
So are you telling me that you have to re-bind every time you change models?

Re: Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switcing Models
Ok but how does the Tx module know what ID to send to the Rx?
Isn't that info stored in the file or model saved on the radio?

Re: Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switcing Models
That's just how this module works. The radio plays absolutely no role in it. Why do you say that? Doesn't the radio send instruction to the Tx module to send the correct command to the selected quad? Basically its in the radio where you select which model and once selected there must be some instru...

Turnigy 9XR Pro & Orange Rx loses bind when switching Models
I have a problem, I have a Turnigy 9XR Pro with Orange DSM2/X TX (with the dip switches for mode setting) I have 2 quads, 1 with a 6 ch rx and the other 10ch, both orange & both DSM2/X compatible. I can bind both quads with no problem using auto mode on the Tx module. They both bind in DSMX 22ms...

Re: Do I read 9xr manual first then the Pro or some other?
When you ask about the switches and pots and which apply to a quad the short answer is all of them and none of them. That means you have to assign them in the mixes menu and define their limits etc. The pro has some basic templates but you're not going to pick one and just fly. A good source of info...

Re: Rx-Err warning
Reconnected the 10 ch Rx traditional (non s-bus) and all works fine. So at this point s-bus not an option. Is it possible there is a firmware issue with the Orange tx & rx modules and s-bus? The 3ch reciever I mentioned above works via s-bus when I had the wrong firmware (the 9x version which ca...

Rx-Err warning
After getting my wrong pro firmware issue fixed, I connected a 10 ch s-bus orange R1020x receiver via s-bus (bind pins on this rx) no problem binding. all controls work good & I can control all 4 motors BUT I get a constant flashing red light from the Naza FC lite with the V2 firmware as if batt...

Re: ELE & Rud Trim backwards???
Please also check the r217 you are using is ersky9xr_rom.bin, and not ersky9x_rom.bin (the one for the original SKY board). These trims ARE swapped between ersky9x and ersky9xr. Mike. That's REALLY odd, If you install the correct firmware everything works like it's supposed to.. :o Thanks Mike, tha...

Re: ELE & Rud Trim backwards???
Mike, I created a new "plain vanilla" model with no logical switches, mixes etc. The trim switch is still backwards on both the Ele & Rud. I went to the DiagSwtch screen & it shows negative when Ele pushed up & Rud pushed right. So does this say I have a defective 9XR Pro? If t...

Re: ELE & Rud Trim backwards???
Thanks for checking Mike. Is there a setting to invert just the trims? I'm on vacation this week so I will investigate further. And see if there is anything I can do.

ELE & Rud Trim backwards???
I found last night that whenever I adjust the trim via the front panel trim controls, the Pro front panel display shows it traveling backwards (IE: up on ELE shows it going negative ) same for RUD left shows it going right. THL & ALE are ok. I went back to the 212 firmware & it is ok. Am I m...

9XR Pro and Orange 3ch sbus rx flaky ELE
I have an issue, I got my 9XR pro last week set it up with my orange rx and had my quad in the air, no problem. I also have an orange T-six Tx that I've had issue with so I went through bind with that to make a video to send to Hobbyking to deal with that. Of course, when done I go back to my pro &a...
