I was told by Ivan Goodchild that anything with open TX would not be allowed, he is the radio guru for the LMA He can be contacted here: [email protected] Please do not mention my name.

Not allowed to use any TX with open TX on it
In the UK, the Large Model Association have been told by their advisor on radio systems that anything using OpenTX is not allowed to be used on any flight line where public are watching, i.e. any model shows. Can this be addressed.

For some reason the speech is very slow on my Taranis plus. Any ideas anybody?

Suggestion for upgrade if possible
Although the heptic upgrade is usefull for the hard of hearing, would it be possible to add a red and green led to the case so that if flying gliders and if you are deaf these led's be linked to the vario so that when you are climbing the green flashes and decending the red flashes. Just a thought!!

N2 Industries Airspeed indicator
I have purchased and installed an N2 industries airspeed indicator but cannot get any readings from it. I have setup the telemetry as I beleive it should be, but would be greatful if somebody could have a look for me just to make sure. am attaching the model eep. Thanks in anticipation.

Have just changed retract from channel 1 to channel 8 and battery from channel 8 to channel 1 and retract now works on the chosen switch!!

Ok, I think I have it right now but, still no response from the retract, have just tried a servo tester with it and it works fine!

Retractable Undercarriage
I am trying to get a retract to work on a scale glider, using the Taranis, and 8XR rx. The retract is on channel 1, for some reason or not, I cannot get any switch to work it i am including the setup eep if this is any help.

Crow braking
Have got v-tail, flaps and ailerons working using the Wizard in Companionx9. I want to use throttle for Crow but no matter what I do I just cannot get anything to work! Have attached my model .eepe file if anybody can help.

Thanks Kilrah, have looked at this page countless times and played around with settings to no avail. According to Frsky, all you need to do with the new Vario is plug it in to the Smart port on the receiver and in the telemetry screen on the Taranis, set the "source" to Vario, and that sho...

Have just purchased Frsky new Vario for use with the new Taranis, am using the X8R Rx with Smart port, I cannot seem to get a reading from the vario at all, just plug into Smart Port as per instructions, the led flashes and that is it nothing on the Transmitter at all. Any ideas anybody?
