xps xtremelink modules (THREAD CLOSED)

Post by michaelclyde »

i just bought the "tattletale" voltage and freq pulse monitor from xps, xtreme power systems and just noticed their modules and rx's. a very impressive spec sheet comparing futaba, spektrum etc... they have, among the name brand compatible modules a universal that you can choose your interface with with which includes built-in telemetry capability (up to 69 different add-ons at once, the best range over any others, made in america ...blah, blah, blah
does anybody know which might work with my er9x or have any knowledge of these things.
they must have something on the ball they did the systems for james cameron (the director) and his mini-sub for his titantic and bismark "field trips"
a link to the tx page, the universal module is at or near the bottom.
tx modules at xps

thanks,
michael clyde

A JR compatible module ought to fit and work, but looking at the prices I'm not about to try to find out if it does!

$99.99 for a jr comp. and $109 for a universal guaranteed for life ' i mean if james cameron used them, maybe it's his life it's guaranteed for
awfully good specs, if you can believe the spec sheet

rc groups down for anybody else?

Could be spam... Ask Cameron, he'll know.

All the specs on the home page are out of whack. THey should be updated to show the real world data and other brands that DO Freq. Hopping. XPS isn't the only name in town, and for that price, I wouldn't buy it.

That's not even mentioning the load of issues XPS has been known for both in the US and in Europe where it was marketed by Graupner as iFS, and the new generation that has been awaited for years. OK, they were the first 2.4GHz radio equipment manufacturer, but...

And the marketing claims are - well, marketing claims. Like that one FPV equipment manufacturer that says it supplies to the US military, but uses the same modules that are sold for 1/10th of the price by other manufacturers with the same or even better real-world results.

that's exactly the reason i asked, even if you had a 100% biased opinion (ha)
works for me

thanks for lookin out,
michael clyde

i'm not a chick so, titanic wasn't that good of a movie to me anyway
and the only thing i like about james cameron is, his wife...good looking blond actress (blanking on the name)
xps - xtreme pieca xxxx
i shouldn't talk smack about something i don't know about.i should say the tattletale i bought seems to work well, i haven't put it through it's paces 100% yet...

@ showmaster,
i live in that dump they call san bernacesspool close enough to l.a. that that should be reason enough by itself.
yall have convinced me, i'll stick w/frysky, if i can save up enough and since there isin't much use in beating a dead horse (unless your into that) i'm gonna find the closed button
