frsky gps

i purchased a fr sky gps sensor to use with my horus x10s using open tx. when i power on the receiver with gps unit in s port and discover new sensor on transmitter flashing light slows down on sensor and information shows up on transmitter. it gives me a gps location which does not change as i move around with the gps unit. i can walk a block away leave the sensor there and come back to the transmitter still reads the same gps coordinates. Any help would be appreciated.
