Those trees must work out expensive!
“A good politician is quite as unthinkable as an honest banker”
They used to say "if you don’t want to work at McDonald’s, go to college." Now they say "if you want to work at McDonald’s, go to college.”

I really don't think it is a genuine video. It is probably fast forward video. I don't believe that paste is humanly possible by a helicopter. Just imagine how he judge the swing of the tree and drop into the truck that fast.

There might be some fast forward trickery, but the behavior of the tow wire suggest that the helicopter is moving fast. And there are other videos that show that these tree harvesting pilots don't fool around. For example, this one seems more relaxing from the pilot's seat, but still amazingly fast action:

The real question is how much this harvesting method adds to the cost of each tree. Seems to me a truck and some muscle could do it for less. At least that is the low tech way the tree farms do it in my area. But they are much smaller fields, so perhaps large farms can justify the helicopter.

I think this one is a light /sport helicopter moving very small tree, you can see there is not even a door on the side of the pilot and the frame is so fragile/thin. But the previous video is a Jetranger which is a much bigger and heavier helicopter which you can't stop / move that easy.
I think it is doable like a stunt once but as a fast paste repeatedly, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think it's genuine. Look at the behaviour of the cable. When the heli changes direction and the cable still moves forward due to Inercia. If the video speed was Increased, it would show a very unreal movement of the cable. Also, it might not be possible for trucks to drive to where the trees are, so the heli might be the best option. The extra price that each tree will cost might depend on how many trees those pilots are able to transport in as little time as possible. That would explain why only the best might get this job :)

After watching the second video I'm convinced that the first is original. The timing is about the same on both videos. The time the helis stay down to pick the trees up is about the same also. The swing of the cable is about the same and consistent with the speed. I think these guys are just amazing pilots..

Must take some practice to get that job sorted!
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!
