Light switch not working

Hi, I'm a newbie and I've progrramed my radio to switch the light on and off using the AIL switch but it doesnt works. I've installed the HobbyKing LCD backlinght.....

Any ideas?.

how did you install it? did you use a FET transistor connected to pin 17 of the chip to switch the backlight? what mod did you follow?

I used the Hobbyking connection, no FET connected to pin 17....Just using the HK connector... ¿?

Then it will be permanently on. To be able to switch it, you have to add the transistor.
