X9D+ telemetry lost/recovered.
Is the Telemetry easily knocked out by other frequency's? On almost all my models after a really good range check while landing in a certain direction and altitude I get a telemetry lost and almost instantly telemetry recovered warning. All of this always in the same area and about 100+/-ft away. Definitely not a flooded signal or so I wouldn't imagine from this distance.

Depending on your antennas position (radio and receiver) it is possible the RSSI getting quite low when the model is low as on approach for example, specially if you point the tip, or the back of the TX antenna at the model.
My suggestion is log your flights and see what is happening.
You could also try pointing the tip of tx antenna to the ground at approx. 45 degree angle.
Like this, the weakest points of the antenna will be pointing to the ground (tip), and to you (back).

I have looked at logs and RSSI has been fine but getting this blip for a split second. not receiver signal lost but Telemetry signal lost. Still I will try the reposition of the antenna this morning.

Did you fly solo or were other 2.4GHz radios active in close distance? Turning sideways may increase signal strength from nearby TX enough to swamp the telemetry RX in your X9D.Wildvortex wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 1:00 pm I have looked at logs and RSSI has been fine but getting this blip for a split second. not receiver signal lost but Telemetry signal lost. Flying solo. I think I must admit being wrong. Area I had problems with was 90° to my left and my antenna was pointed in that direction horizontaly I changed it to straight forward and did not get that warning this last flight.
Re: X9D+ telemetry lost/recovered.
the antenna irradiates most of the power from its side, weakest points are the tip and the back.
Same applies to the receiver's antennas.

Yes, never been a big problem just irritating to hear the Telemetry lost /recovered all the time when you are coming in to land. Realize that signal emmits as such ((I)). Tough to find an orientation that is always good. if you go with vertical polorization it is tough to get the RX ends vertical and in areas that give different receiving points. Horizontal and you will always have problems at 90° from you. I guess it might be best to keep your antenna at 90° out of the tx but swung to 45° . Hmmm this is always a tough one when the receiving divices is moving 3 dimensionally.
