eepskye
This is eepskye (Windows version) with many updates, but fixes for use with the 9Xtreme board.
I'll keep posting updates on this post when I do any changes specific for the 9Xtreme board.
To use this, I assume you already have eepskye installed, then you just copy the .exe from this .zip file into your eepe install directory.
Currently, you need to set the "download version" to 9Xtreme for the EEPROM to be properly recognised as from the 9Xtreme. I'm looking into making this automatic, but it is not straightforward.

Hi,
It says new version of ERSKY9x (ersky9x9XT_rom.bin) is available (r217) when I try to download it. It says error downloading file not found. Thanks.

Re: eepskye
That's because ersky9x for the 9Xtreme has never been at r217, so is not available.
Go into preferences, hit the "Check" button, don't download the file, but DO "ignore this version". It will then set the latest download revision to r217, and will then only report new versions.

Is this the same version as on http://www.er9x.com/?
I am asking because this is the windows version and I am looking for MAC version. Of course I can try to install it on a virtual machine and redirect the ports to it, but if there is a Mac version I'd prefer using it directly.

Re: eepskye
Unfortunately, I cannot build the MAC version, so the MAC version is usually only updated, by someone else for me, when I commit a release.

Re: eepskye
How do you connect the 9Xtreme board to the eePskype software? Without turning on the radio, I plugged in the USB cable. Nothing happened. Screen blank. In eepe when I click Read Memory from TX I got Tx disk not mounted.
I am thinking I need drivers for the 9xtreme board? Where should I download the USB drivers for 9xtreme?
Thanks.

Re: eepskye
No drivers needed..
You need eepskye, not eepe.. "eepskye.exe" is located inside eepe's installation folder. Just create a shortcut on your desktop.
To connect to eepskye, turn the tx ON while holding both horizontal trims towards the center of the radio. This will start the radio in bootloader mode. Then connect the USB cable. Wait a few seconds and start eepskye.

Re: eepskye
Isn't there a possibility to manage it like the Pro?
Automatic bootloader mode when USB connection is established before power-on?

Re: eepskye
Unfortunately not. As we are using a STM processor, when you plug the USB in with power off it starts in the STM ROM bootloader. This is selected by a hardware signal, while on the Atmel processor on the 'PRO uses an internal programmable fuse to select this.

Ah that did it. I din know it has to be in bootloader mode. Cool, thanks for the info.MikeB wrote:Unfortunately not. Hi,
Is it possible to set ID0, ID1 and ID2 with different limits? Similar to those toy quadcopter transmitters where there is a low, medium and high settings?
Thanks.

I want to set switch ID0 with AIL,ELE,THR and RUD with limits of 40% for all of them.
I want to set switch ID1 with AIL,ELE,THR and RUD with limits of 60% for all of them.
I want to set switch ID0 with AIL,ELE,THR and RUD with limits of 100% for all of them.
Can this be done, if so how do you do this. Thanks a lot for the help.
Re: eepskye
Do you mean the sticks (Inputs) by AIL, ELEŢHR and RUD? I'm Asking because this is how the switches are represented. Sticks are Ail, Ele, Thr and Rud..
So, you want to program triple rates then?
Please download the manual linked below and read pages 41 to 43. Expo/DR screen. This is the manual for er9x but in this case it is similar to ersky9x..

Ok, a little help. Go to the Expo/DR tab
Select the input you want to apply dual rate..
LOW 40 (both right and left)
MID 60
HIGH 100
Now for "DrSw1" Select !ID2. For "DrSw2" select !ID1.. The "!" before the switch ID means that is the reverse of the switch..

Although it works, I dun understand the logic behind it. The part where the switch 1 is set to !ID2 and switch 2 is set to !ID1.
Re: eepskye
I don't really understand it either, but it works

Re: eepskye
If DrSw1 is OFF, you are on high rates (Hi), DrSw2 has no effect.
If DrSw1 is ON, you have mid or low rates controlled by DrSw2, DrSw2 OFF gives mid and DrSw2 ON gives low rates.
To use the IDx switch alone therefore needs unusual settings as it is really operating as two switches.
So, ID0 you want DrSw1 and DrSw2 both ON.
ID1, you want DrSw1 ON and DrSw2 OFF.
ID2, you want DrSw1 OFF and DrSw2 either OFF or ON.
So DrSw1 is ON when you are not in position ID2 (!ID2).
DrSw2 is ON when you are not in position ID1 (!ID1).

Re: eepskye
Okee my first post...
9Xtreme installed (works ). Transferred voices to sdcard (works ).Flashed rom with eepskye in bootloadermode (works ). Worked on a model in Eepsky. Tried to flash model and at first glance succes, but when uploading it to computer it seems to succeed too although the model is empty (standard model) again.
Disconnecting usb and starting up indeed the model is standard(empty).
Is there something i do wrong uploading models...?
Update 25 okt:
Mike resolved my isues with a new version of Eepsky!
Greetings Hans
