Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
I have an sp2.1 and an unmodded new T9x. I'll make time on the weekend to install the telez and test it out. Sorry I can't help sooner.

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Got my board (thanks Steven!) but haven't had any free time lately and so haven't been able to follow everything up close. So I think I missed something, is r58 the latest (ie everything working properly) version or where can I grab r56?

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
The hardware is compatible with that concept. The firmware is up to the community at large, although from the looks of the code I'd say Gohst already has it at least partially implemented. Good time for an update: Everything's built and I believe it was shipped to me today! It should arrive here in...

programming acrobatics
I came from the Parrot AR Drone quadcopter and the v2 has acrobatics pre-programmed. At the touch of a button the drone will do a quick flipover while still flying, making for some sweet acrobatic moves. I've seen video footage of DIY quads where this has been mimicked and I'm wondering if it's some...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Make sure that jiggling that wire isn't shorting it to gnd or +5V. Or one of the other wires shorting either. I can't think of any other reason that would reset the Tx. -Gohst Yep, ya got it right again. Not only was gnd breaking off but so was the wire to the module connector, it broke off as I ji...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Tizzy, Make sure you have a good ppm signal to the Tez. If the board is working but not getting that signal it won't send any packets to the 9x. -Gohst Yep, that was it. Opened the casing, switched everything on and jiggled each wire and the PPM turns out to be a little loose on the 12pin (which ac...

All good idea's but perhaps you're projecting too much
Used my local backups which have worked fine until now except for the switch\toroid issue. But you're probably right and it's something silly I've overlooked. I'll go through everything again.

Re: er9x development
There is nothing to adjust for the FLVS. I've not changed any scaling, as far as I know, for the FLVS, but maybe something did change. I assume it was OK in r773 and is not OK in r776. Where are you reading these values? On the screen with up to six cells all displayed, or are you looking at the si...

Re: er9x development
Just found this thread, sorry for the double post: Just flashed r776 and then put my eeprom backup back for the models but found something strange: I have an FLVS voltage sensor connected directly to the FAS-100 which is connected directly to the Rx and the individual cell voltage is now completely ...

Checked on page3, I am indeed using r773. Must have just missed the upgrade, thanks again Mike. I'm assuming the r775 is on the wiki for both er9x-frsky as well as er9x-frsky-noht? EDIT Just flashed r776 and then put my eeprom backup back for the models but found something strange: I have an FLVS vo...

Re: [HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
If the firmware supports RTH, it's complete nonsense not to have it useable in case of RC loss. Too true, but the developer is focusing on other things at the moment so I was hoping to find a different solution than the coding, but it's been verified at the source and it seems we'll just have to wa...

custom display settings resetting
Hi guys, Is the custom display screen supposed to reset to the initial Timer\A1\A2 settings every time the tx is switched off? I'd like to monitor the power usage and have an FS100 hooked up to a d8r plus II, but I have to change the setup to display the FS100 data every time. It's a little tedious ...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Tizzy... if you have any means of strong magnification, I'd bet a small sum of money that one of the capacitors (labeled C1, C2, C3, etc) has one of its sides not soldered. Hi Steven, I'd take that bet even tho I know your working hours ;) I did check tho under a lit glass and all 9 seemed soldered...

Re: [HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
That's funny and sad at the same time... Ah well, at least I gained a few things from this exercise: 1) an easier way to activate RTL, 2) a better understanding of mixing the t9x, 3) a better understanding of rx and tx funtionality, 4) a lesson on how important highlighting the first paragraph in a ...

Re: [HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
Still of no help for the failsafe scenario though. Just to make it clear so you don't think you're "protected" when you're not :) How do you mean? I suppose it depends on what failsafe should mean and for me it works exactly as needed: when the Tx signal is lost, the Rx failsafe activates...

Wow, you're amazing. I'm still trying to wrap my head around what you did and it almost worked 100% right off the batt. I suspect it's my config which is slightly different from the standard setting I described above that caused it to just miss the mark: I needed to change the Add to Multiply on the...

Re: [HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
The RUD channel is used to switch modes 1, 2 & 3 (resp. 1950, 1050 & flipover). If I could set the frsky failsafe for just Rud that would be great but setting failsafe as I understand it is just a freeze frame of the switch settings and so I assume a separate channel would need to be used to...

Re: [HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
Lets say the RUD switch is used to change flight mode of which there are two: stable and acro, but instead of just two modes a 3rd mode (RTL) can be activated by quickly flipping RUD back and forth (just once is needed). So changing the pulse from say 1950 to 1050 and back again is interpreted by th...

[HELP] er9x: activate on off combo on FrSky failsafe?
Hi guys, I hope I can get this out with some clarity. One of the quads I use has a function for activating RTL (return to launch) by flipping a switch on the tx (say the RUD swtch) off and then on again. I'd like to activate that function if the (FrSky DJT8R II plus) tx signal is lost. I've spent so...
