Interactive Wizard/Simulator
I understand where that's coming from (or going to?) but I don't think it would be much more/any better visualization than the current simulator. How is this for a modification of the idea... Enhance the model wizard by integrating the simulator so one could not only build the basic mixes for a mode...

Worse!
As background, I have one of the first radios from the first offering from Aloft, ie; early SerNo "A". I have been lucky in that it had very little speaker buzz. I had to get my ear to within 6 inches of the speaker to hear it when the volume was set to max. I also had NO buzz when using a...

Re: Taranis - speaker buzz - fixed
Inasmuch as we have seen that a real solution to this issue still escapes us perhaps Rob should revise the thread title by eliminating the "-fixed" suffix.

Not so sure about not having to need a FW update. At least one item mentioned for the + is haptic for which there currently no provisions in the existing FW.

Glad to hear you found the problem. The great majority of ESC problems are not caused by the transmitter but by improper setup of the ESC (or even a defective ESC). Next time, though, please choose an informative title. Most of the posters "got a problem" -- if you want people to read you...

Re: OpenTX 2923 but what has been changed?
It looks like we all will have to get ourselves a Taranus soon as opentx got too big for the 9x  Nahh.. It means that the 9X has matured and it is now a stable platform that offers much more than most mid and high range radio's that are on the market. Don't forget that in the wings is the ...

Re: Can't flash firmware on win 7
opentx-x9d-v1.1.02 (via FR Sky / Dfuse) is an early version of opentx that FrSky adopted for some bug fixes. There has been additional development of the firmware since which is only available directly from the developers through C9x. The general consensus is to forget FrSky's updates and go with C9...

Re: Possible new flashing method
I've just completed a working version of a new method for flashing the SKY board. It should be possible to port this method to the STM ARM processor of the Taranis, allowing for some differences in the way the flash is written. The method I have working is:<snip> Mike, if you and Kilrah can make th...

Re: Antenna mod
Really nothing to it! Just unsoldered the old cable. Soldered on the pigtail - and then secured the sma to the case. Securing the SMA was the hard part. What I did was. Sourced a washer that the sma bulkhead connector attached too. Then pushed this into the old hole, by heating it with the tip of a...

FrSky is bankrupt, defunct and out of business! Don't let anyone tell you differently. Your radio is a worthless orphan, sad to say and soon to become inoperable. Because I need some components from your now worthless radio for other projects I will give you $10 and pay for shipping to take it off o...

SM,
These mixes and CSV should do what you want. Set up the alarms and warnings to suit your fancy. This is a Taranis profile in OpenTx file.

Re: FlySky (Turnigy) module use.
I'm not Geoff, but I can tell you that the FS-TM002 module has worked perfectly with My Taranis for both the v912 and v929 since July. I previously used the module in my FlySky 9x with equal success. Nice thing with Taranis is to put triple rates on any of the 3 pos switches. Just a minor preference...

Re: Hobbyzone Apprentice S 15e
I'm not DD66 but to answer your question... The manual for the Apprentice gives the recommended control throws. With your radio set for high rates measure the deflections of each of the control surfaces. You can then adjust the weight for each surface in either the mixer or limits screens (for high ...
