epee build?

Post by ccpetersen »

Hopefully this is an ok place for a build question.

I keep getting the following runtime error: (QT Creator 2.4.0 (474) on an iMac with OSX 10.7.2) Eepe seems to run fine as it passes some regression checks.:

Object::connect: No such slot MainWindow::checkForUpdates() in ../src/mainwindow.cpp:865

Can't find anything wrong with the function declaration. Could someone with more QT experience point me in the right direction?

QT and Lion does not work nicely together. That is why I have setup a 10.6 disk just for compiling. I followed this guide

Also for now if you don't want to compile yourself then take the DMG I have done.

Thanks, it just seem a little retro to go back a rev on Xcode and OSX but I think your right that Nokia doesn't seem to have much motivation to support Apple. I've made to changes to er9x and eepe to bend them a bit more to my will so the stock version of either won't help me much. I'll fire up linux and windows on my mac and see if Qt support is a little better on either.

I assume people working on epee are running QT Creator on windows?

It's done on Linux, not Windowzzzz :)

If you want I can compile it for you, just tell me the changes :)
