Hello all,
I have just installed my newly bought DJT module and binded the D8R-ii and D4R-ii. I get a solid red light for the D8R-ii and a solid green light for the D4R-ii when powered on. However when I have my Esc and servos plugged into either of the two receivers I have no response of the servos and motor, all I get is a beep from the motor. Can someone please help me with this issue?
Thank you

What firmware you have installed in the radio? The original turnigy firmware?
Also, some radios have a little bit of plastic around the pins in the module bay that prevents the module from being fully inserted. That bit of plastic needs to be cut..

Assuming you have the stock firmware, go to the graphic display screen, the one with bars. Do they respond to the sticks? If so, the transmitter is working.
Your problem may be with the calibration of your ESCs. If possible, plug in a servo to make sure things are working. Then read the instructions on calibrating the ESCs.

Re: FrSky DJT Module Turnigy 9x: Controls not Working
Thanks for the replies guys.
I have stock firmware, and I have cut the plastic so that the module clips in.
The display bars do move when I give a stick input.
All planes were working before I swapped receivers and module.

Please do a test if you have a flight simulator. See if you can use the radio with it.. to find out if it is outputting the PPM signal..
Also do you still have the old module? You could plug it back in to rule out the radio (or not) as the problem..

Re: FrSky DJT Module Turnigy 9x: Controls not Working
I tried to re-install the old module and it didn't work. but i had to re solder the antenna wire and that may not have been done correctly.
I could never get my flight simulator to work so i wont be able to check it that way.
edit: After making sure the module was set correctly, the old one does work.
I have tried fitting the new module in again and is working. Looks like the module just wasnt fitted in completely. Thanks for the replies and help guys.
