Stick problem after 9XTreme installation

Hi,
I want to explain my problem with my radio; I've recently installed the 9Xtreme board; until it everything was Ok with my FlysKy TH9X. But after the installation the elevator movement it's no working; neither the servo moves, neither the radio shows any movement on the spot that represents the elevator stick.
The connections seems to be ok. The gimbal connector seems to be ok (and the weldings). I've unscrewed the item under the gimbal and the weldings are ok, too.
So I cannot find the problem, I don't know if it can be a problem of the board... or I have to do something...
The rest of the radio seems to work perfect. Here are some information:
Version: V.1946-Mike
Date: 26.08.2015
SVN: ersky9x-r218
Mod: 9XT
In the DiagANA display the A3 item shows -100 all the time (no response to the stick movement).

Any IDEA?

On the DiagANA display for A3 what is the 4-digit value just left of the -100?
Do you have a test meter that can measure resistance and voltage?

Mike.

Dear Mike,
thanks for the reply!!!

DiagANA shows:
A3 0130 -100
or
A3 012F -100
A3 012D
A3 012E

The 0130 number or 012F/012D/012E appears intermitently
Afeter a while appears:
A3 03EB 100

I cant Believe it while Im doing this test and recording a video to post.... the spot is now moving! And I can calibrate it!
I Can't believe it.

But now I'm Afraid...If it stop working while I will be flying...a crash is announced!

So I still want your opinion.

Now, when everything it's OK, I'm mesuring at the gimbal:
the Voltage is 3.3V (positive-negative; black-red wire)
Red-white wire -1.5V
Signal-negative 10 MOhm (white-red wire) or white-black 10 MOhm

It's the first time I'm using a test meter... :o
Thanks!
Joel.

I think you had/have a bad connection somewhere.. Check the connector that connects the wires from that pot to the mainboard. Make sure it is fully inserted and you can also move the wires a little near the connector.. See if it fails again..

I accept that seems to be a bad connection...but yesterday I unplugged and plugged several times all the plugs to the board... and verifyed that the weldings were ok.
I have to recognice that while I was recording the video I've moved the wires to show the connector in the video... but if this is the case the bad connection is inside the connector -nor the connector plug to the board- (I'm trying to explain as good as I can, sorry about my english).

After all, thanks, I will do some tests before flying with this radio.

I have a similar problem on my 9xtreme radio. Sometimes it will lose the PPM signal on the module bay. The problem is exactly the 12 way connector that connects both halves of the radio. It had bad connection on the pin/wire that carry the battery voltage to the main board. This one I repaired, but decided to order another connector and replace it. This connector was removed and inserted far too many times. :(

It has been known that the copper wire can have a break, but the insulation still holds the wire in the crimp terminal of the connector.
If you, gently, pull the wire(s) where they go into the connector, you might see them stretch if this is the case.
