XJT module will not power on

Post by lrussi750 »

Hello All, I recently upgraded my 9X with the 9Xtreme board. I have used a DJT and XJT in the transmitter successfully prior to the upgrade.
Before I installed the board I plugged in both modules and they both worked fine. After the upgrade only the DJT will power on, the XJT will not.
has anyone experienced anything like this, can someone point me in the right direction to troubleshoot the issue. I've searched the boards and
found nothing. Thanks for your help!

I've not seen this before. I assume when you say the XJT does not power on, the LEDs on the module don't come on.

Hi Mike,

Yes, the led does not come on when you turn on the radio.

I'm surprised if the DJT works and the XJT doesn't.
The 9Xtreme includes an electronic power switch for the module. When you create a new model (including when first powered on), the module is set to OFF, so is not powered. You do need to set the module to ON and then the protocol to the required protocol (PXX for the XJT). You may have done this of course.
