9x FlySky 2.4 module / Antenna soldering connection.

Hi,
I am solder the 9x (tx) FlySky 2.4 module antenna connection (Model FS-TM002).
I want to confirm that I have the antenna soldered properly.
When there is no antenna soldered to the module how can I tell that these two connections are not soldered together.
I tried ohms readings and it reports a complete short between them.
- Antenna pads, the two connections.
Is there a way or what should I be looking for to verify a proper solder connection using the multimeter ?

No. You should not use a multimeter there at all as it can damage the module.

Can I or how should I check for this ?
I am soldering a IPX U.fl PCB Mount Socket connector to a FlySky 2.4 GHz module
and I want to check that I have proper continuity connection with my soldering.
Is there a way to check that the solder connections have not shorted together ?

Here are photos showing my soldering:
- FlySky Module with IPX U.fl PCB Mount Socket connector soldered to it.
- FlySky 2.4 GHz. Module
Model: FS-TM002.
My understanding is with transmitters, it is not proper to power them up without an antenna connected to them,
this is because it could damage the transmitter.
Is there a way to check that the solder connections have not shorted together before powering up the transmitter module ?

No, on the flysky modules, the antenna looks like a short to the multimeter..
The best is to use a magnifying glass and check your soldering. You can also take a good resolution picture of your soldering and check it on the computer..

When done that way you basically can't. Hope for the best and do a good range test... which is a pain on the lousy FS modules that don't have a range test feature.

Because I have several 9x modules to play with and I have the RF Explorer 6G Combo Spectrum Analyzer, I am going to
try the 9x module with no antenna and power it up to take base line readings with the Spectrum Analyzer.
Then I will re-solder the IPX U.FL connector to this 9x module and then with the Spectrum Analyzer take new
reading with its 2.4 antenna installed.
Also I will take Spectrum Analyzer readings with a different 9x module so to compare readings
between both 9x modules with there antennas installed.
- Spectrum Analyzer readings of 9x Module with NO Antenna.
- Re-soldered IPX U.FL Connector to 9x module.
- Add Antenna to 9x module.
- 9x module with new Antenna installed.
- Spectrum Analyzer readings of 9x Module with 2.4 Antenna.
- Spectrum Analyzer readings of a different 9x Module with 2.4 GHz Antenna.
The results show it is working properly!
