Having spent sometime doing modifications to the transmitter. One thing has really made it a bit of a chore during testing. That is that you have to connect the back to the front, which leaves little if no space to put test probes onto various points. What is needed is an extension lead to enable the two halfs to be laid side by side.
Has anyone done the above? What are the connectors used on the TX called? Who makes them. I am assuming that I could find them stocked by RS Components (have you used the 'new' c**p web site they have) or Farnell.

Add some 12 core ribbon cable and you are done. can't seem to find it made up already, but I do have one striped from a old device I butchered for parts, but can't lay my hands on it now, think I stored it in the attic and no way I go in there in the winter
