Please help! Turnigy 9xr pro, can't get to play voice files. In radio setup menu, there's no option for sound under"beep" option. Replaced stock voice files. Haven't heard announcements since.

Voice is integrated into the 9XR-PRO, no option is needed to enable it.

HK made some errors with the voice files they ship with the radio. It is best if you load a new set onto the Sd card.
You download new files from this post:
viewtopic.php?f=122&t=5680.

The 9XR-PRO manuals are here:
viewtopic.php?f=122&t=5575#p79483

One of them is specific to using voice.

Mike.

Which voice pack did you download?
Also are you putting the voice files inside a folder called "voice"??

I don't know if you already said this but I would like you to confirm that you are using the oriuginal ersky9x firmware, or did you flash another firmware?

Just checking you have the .wav files in the "voice" sub-directory of the SD card.
I've added new voice features in recent firmware versions, but the following should work:
Go to the "SAFETY SWITCHES" menu and press the UP button.
You should now be on a line showing:
VS32
Set this to read:
VS32 RUD ON 0

Now when you turn the RUDder switch on (pull it forwards), the wav file 0000.wav should be output. This is "Zero", so that's what you should hear.

Yes this is ersky9x factory firmware. I put the files in voice folder. Tried the "throttle on" switch with VS32, still nothing. The voice files show up in voice folder. How do you "restore" voice files, maybe that's the problem.??

Did you download the voice pack with this name?? "Voice Files For 9XR Pro With Er9x.zip"
If you downloaded another, then download this one and put the files in the voice folder.

Still not having any luck with voice. I also noticed in general radio setup, I don't have "sound" option to select speaker voice.

That option doesn't exist on the 9XR pro, only in er9x because of the voice module. The pro already ships with voice capability..
Did you download the voice files mentioned above?
Here is a direct link to them:

Did you try another SD Card?
Are you putting the voices inside a folder called "voice"?

Yes I put them in the voice folder, and I downloaded the one you said. I haven't tried a new sd card yet.

Does your radio beep when you change the trims?

Make on SD CARD folder SOUNDS & subfolder in your language. Example SOUNDS/en
Voice files from Taranis or other .wav 32000Hz 32bit.
For OpenTX - 9xr pro.

I have a 9xr pro that never made any sound from the beginning when using the trims. I have never been able to get he voice working. I have updated it to the latest version ersky9x-A4r223. I got the radio when hobby king first launched them. I have opened it to make sure the speaker was connected and worked.

So do you get absolutely no sounds from it at all then?

In the RADIO SETUP|AudioHaptic menu, what do you have set for Volume and Beeper?

I will have to flash the firmware back to ersky9xr, as right now I flashed the opentx version for the 9xr pro to get crossfire working. I'm trying to figure out why opentx is not saving the models to the sdcard.

Beacause as far as I know, OpenTX never saved models.. Only the completely eeprom..
That could have changed recently of course, and I don't know. :)
