eepe simulator switch question

This is a very basic question, so apologies if it is irritating. I'm confused about the state of the switches in the eepe simulator UI.
For dual state switches, clicking on a switch turns it green, clicking again turns it back to grey. Is grey (unclicked) the 'normal' state or the 'inverted' state? Assuming green is the 'normal' state (corresponding to the 'up' position of the physical switch), shouldn't all of these switches be in the normal position by default (the way ID0 is set to green by default)? If grey is the 'normal' state and green is the 'inverted' state, then examples like the aileron mix here:

Finally, let's look at what we need to do to set up dual rates. This is pretty simple. You can add multiple mixes to the same
channel. The switch specifies which mix takes effect (it can actually be a lot more sophisticated, but we'll cover that later). So, this mix:
•CH01 +100%AIL Switch(AIL)
• +80%AIL Switch(!AIL)
follows this logic:
•If the AIL switch is in the normal position, map the AIL stick at 100% to channel 1.
•If the AIL switch is in the toggled position, map the AIL stick at 80% to channel 1.

The nice thing about er9x is that you can use a single dual rate switch to manage multiple channels. You could repeat the above lines for the elevator and rudder channels, both of them specifying the AIL switch.

The logic used for the switches is they are either OFF or ON. Grey/white is OFF, green is ON. The three position switch seems a bit odd, but does follow this logic. ID0 is green/ON and ID1 and ID2 are OFF. One of ID0/1/2 is always ON and the other two are OFF.

While you are quite correct with your dual rates setup, you could, in fact, use the expo/dual rate screen!
