Owning two Taranis transmitters

Allowing for the fact that the Taranis has 60 model memories (or more on card etc), if say, I wanted to use one Tx for power models and another for gliders, can the companion software distinguish between the 2 transmitters? I know the eepes would look different with different models on them etc. However what is the danger that one eepe would over-write those already existing?
Does anyone have this experience? If I want to replace an old Tx I am likely to buy a Taranis because of its flexibility. I'd be grateful for anyone's help please before I purchase another Tx.

Companion loads the models off the radio - so no issue using multiple radios.

Companion can not distinguish one Taranis from another. If you attempt to load the "wrong" eepe file to one of your radios it will happily comply with your instructions and do so. You will not suffer any loss, however, as all you have to do is then burn the "correct" eepe file to the radio. A couple of key strokes and 15 seconds later all is well.

Providing you do keep regular backups of both, which you should of course do :)

And use meaningful names for the backups :P

Don't forget that both transmitters will have different calibrations. I have two profiles and changed the color of the gimbal sticks. One profile is for the red sticks, the other for the blue.

Can't begin to tell you the number of times I have had to re-calibrate due to inattentiveness on my part.

Now the double check is built into my updating routines.
