short story,
turnigy 9x with lasted opentx firmware (opentx-stock128-templates-audio-DSM2-ppmca-ppmus-sp22-dblkeys-battgraph-imperial-en-r27680) HK orx orangerx dsm2/dsmx 2.4G module, HK orangerx DSM2 park receiver (R615), only binds in PPM mode. im trying to bind in DSM2 or DSMX mode to use the radio number function and wont bind.

please advice.

The orange RX module is a ppm module.

The menu option for DSM only applies to hack modules taken from an old spektrum radio.

how about with an dm8 module? I have one of those with an adaprer for my turnigy and still cant bind in dsm2 mode

It's also a PPM module, like ALL commercial modules.
The DSM choice on the radio is ONLY for the hacked ones.

Commercial modules that have settings require you to do the settings on the module itself (you'll change the TX mode on the Orange module using the button on the back).

Note. The radio talks to your module using PPM. The module converts it to DSM2.
