my HK ASK21 Mi glider is here, and my Turnigy 9X with FrSky is in the mail, I'm going to flash to er9X

HK ASK21 Mi is the glider with the 'popup' engine behind the canopy, that has 3 positions,
down stored, halfway for milling prop to brake stop, up,
this really goes with too fast a speed (bang)

I saw a youtube, someone showing HK ASK21 Mi on '3 POS switch',
DOWN, stored, to MID, slow! movement to MID, to UP, up position, and
back MID, slow! retract to half point, DOWN store

anyone can tell me how to program this with er9X,
or the general direction to accomplish this,
cannot find this anywhere explained

Sounds like this is a candidate for a curve of five points or more, using a standard two position switch.

Not knowing this glider at all. Does it have any mechanical switches that is part of the system?

I remember someone doing something similar a while ago.. try searching the forum.. He also had a glider with retractable motor..

You can use the 3 position switch (3POS) as the source of a mix. The output channel is then at one end, in the middle or at the other end. In the mix you can also specify a slow up and/or down.

If you have not already done so, download and install eepe. This will let you experiment with setting up mixes before you get your Tx and re-flash it. You will be able to transfer any model setups you create on eepe onto the radio.

the search in this forum doesnt seem to except 'quotations'
so 'ask 21 mi' starts to generate hundreds of hits with 'ask'

'dg 1000', the model where the motorpod design came from,
outputs, 'dg' ignored

it is a DG 1000 clone by HK, wingspan 2023
