Increasing throttle trim with a switch ?
Increasing throttle trim with a switch ?
I've been trying to set up a switch to increase low end throttle trim, idle up I suppose. Just trying to keep the prop spinning when throttle stick is in the lowest position so my esc doesn't lag when numerous large changes in throttle position in 3D flight are made.
Re: Increasing throttle trim with a switch ?
You could use a curve.

Re: Increasing throttle trim with a switch ?
One way to do it would be to set up a throttle where the low point is say, -90% instead of -100. Then use a switch to replace one curve with the other.
ie: using the rudder switch in this case.
[tab=30]+100%THR Switch(!RUD)
[tab=20]R +100%THR Switch(RUD) Curve(c1)
ie: using the rudder switch in this case.
[tab=30]+100%THR Switch(!RUD)
[tab=20]R +100%THR Switch(RUD) Curve(c1)
Re: Increasing throttle trim with a switch ?
I use a low limit of about - 92%, and a safety switch at - 100% on my P-51.
So when I release the safety switch I start the engine at idle
The switch needs to be on when the model is powered of course, otherwise the esc will shift its input curve.
Might not work with all escs.
