I can't write my eprom

Post by saijem »

Hello I have one ersky9x ver. 3.0 and I have downloaded one eeprom file to program my glider but I cant write it on my radio with the companion program. I think I made all well . For example when I want to change firmware I use samba but I havent seen anyway in samba how write to eeprom, so I decided to use companion. I wrote the path for samba but when I try to do that companion says

=================================================================================
Started SAM-BA
C:/Program Files/ATMEL Corporation/sam-ba_2.11/sam-ba.exe \USBserial\COm6 at91sam3s4-9x C:/Users/pepe/AppData/Local/Temp/temp.tcl
=================================================================================
-I- Waiting ...
-I- TCL platform : Windows NT
-I- SAM-BA 2.11 on : windows
-I- Retrieved arguments from command line :
-I- argv 0 : \USBserial\COm6
-I- argv 1 : at91sam3s4-9x
-I- argv 2 : C:/Users/pepe/AppData/Local/Temp/temp.tcl
-E- Connection \USBserial\COm6 not found
-E- Connection list : {\USBserial\COM7} COM1 COM4 COM3

=================================================================================
SAM-BA done with errors
=================================================================================
Can you help me to resolve my problem.
Thanks from Spain

Looks like you need COM7 not COM6

Try this.
Go into the burn menu, select configure, then in the dialog enter:
\USBserial\COM7
for the port to use.

Mike thank for your response but I can't resolve my problem. I have changed as you said but companion says "not found". I have changed the port in windows, now is usb serial com3 but don't work. I'm going to read in the forum because sometimes reading another thing you find some idea that help to resolve your problem. Don't worry for me, because this isn't necesary.
Thanks for your help

I just did a quick test. SAM-BA may be case sensitive so make sure your parameter is \USBserial\COM3 not \USBserial\COm3.

Thanks for your try but nothing at all. Edit to tell you that was an ortographic problem. I wrote \USBserial\COM3\ and must be \USBserial\COM3 , so I did what I was trying to do. Thanks for your help.
