Gvars in a working eepe/bin

I'm trying to get my mind around using Gvars. Several topics speak to how to do it in (glittering?) generalities (IM{NotSo}HO). But I can"t find a concrete example of a working eepe or C9 bin file to download.

Specifically, I would like to see rates controlled by a GVARs off a pot in C9 and for O9x on erSky board.

Any links or examples would be appreciated.

Maybe this explains my confusion.

I was only trying in c9x, not downloading and trying on tx.

That file was actually meant to be my answer to your post, but seeing as it didn't work, it went to the issues instead :P

I only used them on the radio, had never tried on C9X before.

I'm happy it wasn't just me. Old age is too hard for the young! :)

Really looking forward to the next c9x release.

Is there a chance my problem with voice sound is also an ersky/c9x problem?

I can hear the sounds fine on my tx that I setup in c9x, but pressing the sidewise triangle/start in c9x does NOT cause a track to play. The button changes to a stop/square, but no voice sounds.. The sounds are audible on the PC by opening them in an audio tool. The Sounds9x on the microSD card are identical to the ones on the PC (copied from one to the other.). And the preference has the path to the sounds correct, it can be used in setting up the sounds in FUnctions....I think that is all that should be required, right?

That doesn't work for me either.

Do you want to make an 'issue' out of it in c9x....or should I or ... ignore ... or ???

I'm to the point that I'm really happy to hear it ain't just my stupidity ... what a releif! "contented sighhh, ahhh" ;)
