Good morning,

I've been reading a long time in here cause I'm using the 9x with ER9x firmware and here are all questions I had completly explained (thanks for that!), in exeption of two.

I'm going to modify my 9x with a modul from the DX4e (DSMX) and I've got two questions about that.

How many channels can i get with the DSMX-modul out of the DX4e in my 9x and am I able to get telemetrie informations over that data highway like in the mods with Jeti or FRSKY?

Has anyone tried this to do? Are there any How-To's that i am not able to find?

I believe the answers to your questions are:

6 channels.
no telemetry

Someone may come along and provide better information, but this is a start Welcome to the forum !

I am not sure that there is much information in the public on the spektrum telemetry protocol. Pretty much means someone has to work it out!

Exact, 6CH and no telemetry. Those are limitations of the module.

This is one channel too little.
Are the moduls in the DX7 and DX8 some other ones?

In fact, if I have too bye a DX7/8 to get more than 6 channels it is useless for me to implement the modul in my 9x.

Forget the question about the telemetry, It would be nice-to-have but when it is not able to get it isn't the end of the world.

BUT:
The Graupner MX-16 does support a 8 channel connection when the modul from a DX4e is built in.

Why it doesn't work on our 9x?

Can anyone explain it to me? The modul is able to do that.

and has model matching.

At least 2 of the 4 posted here have done that.
