Is the device actually on com7 ?
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'

Yes Rob and sam-ba is ok, i can read and write in sam-ba but not in companion.

As far as I know one should stay away from SAM-BA 2.12, and use version 2.11...

Here are some tips that helped me.
1. Use Samba 2.11 not 2.12
2. Install it in a folder that's different from the default -- as I did
3. power cycle
I included an image of my companion9x config screen
