Old news I'm sure but I just realized that for years I've fought the nose wheel not tracking with rudder trim after a while or hard landings. I never got around to using 2 servos and mixing them them to the rudder channel and one of the aux pots so I can dial in any tracking offset of the nose wheel vs the rudder.
This has probably been done by others and is old news. Any er9x mix suggestions on this would be great.
Because the aux pot could be bumped some form of enable switch mix would be a good idea that holds the last input when disabled. The idea being as you taxi out you enable the pot to correct the nose wheel offset or tail wheel separate servo offset needed and then disable the pot.
I have the option of er9x or open9x on a
th 9x or sky9x board.
I've been so involved with er9x conversions I have to admit I'm lagging behind on advanced mix programming and rely on the forum posts.
I'm trying real hard not to use the (L)azy
word.

Re: Nose wheel tracking?
I think this will be improved when Mike gets his global variables working. Then you might not have to reset it every time.
Ok so rudder is on a channel by itself, and uses the normal trim.
You steering wheel channel will be like this:
100% RUD noTrim
+25 CHx - increasing this value will increase how much trim range you have
Then on a virtual channel (CHx):
100% P1 Switch(RUD)
+100% CHx Switch(!RUD) - This is what causes the channel to "hold" when the switch is off

Re: Nose wheel tracking?
Exact, perfect scenario where GVars are useful!

Re: Nose wheel tracking?
I'll give it a try. Thanks for taking the time to design and post it.
