Ailerons stuck on

Post by benjie »

Hi evryone. I seem to have no input into my ailerons. I was playing around with the settings/mixing and lost control of them. I got to the point where i did a Factory restore but it still did not fix the problem. I have the servos etc in the right way. :) When i go into the "display" screen the aileron bar is reading 100% but when i move the toggle the bar does not move (all other bars move when toggles are moved). Any thoughts on what has gone wrong? :?:

On which channel is your aileron connected, and what do you have on the mixer screen for that channel?

When i turn the flaperon from "INH" to "ACT" it changes the input. the display shows that if the flaperon is "INH" the ailerons are 100% but if the flaperon is "ACT" the ailerons are 0%. Either way though there is no bar movement on the "display" screen when the aileron toggle is moved. i was trying to set up the flaperons when the problem occured. :-(

Sorry, I know nothing about the stock firmware. Most here got rid of that quite quickly.

Can you change the 0% to 100 when it reads 0? That sounds like your problem.

I had somthing similar and it was a bad solder conection on the pot, weather was very cold and guess the contraction was enough to break the contact.

I've had to repair several Turnigy TXs that came with water damage?
Switches and aux pots were not working or acting weird. Pot spray/lube fixed the pots and all new switches fixed the shorted or open switches, what a pain but good to go.
My ohm meter paid for itself because I couldn't believe they were all messed up at first.
