Okay, here's a new one!
I want to install servo-operated elevator trim tabs; ie. the elevators will not move to achieve trim, the elevator trim tabs will trim independently of elevator movement. What I want to know is this... is there a way to program the elevator trim switch to control the trim servos on another channel and NOT move the elevator servo normally associated with the trim switch? I want the switch to act as it normally would for trim but on a new channel.

Yes, just assign the trim as source to that channel (and disable trim on the elevator mix).
