You're getting better and better at this! I had a club meeting today. Showed everybody the radio. As always there's some Futaba guy telling me hix bazillion $ MZ18xpfq$iT radio can do this and that (apparently running 4 different aileron servos from the same stick is a big thing.... go figure...)

I finally gave up, showed him Snoopy on my splash screen and asked him if his radio could do that?!??

Apparently it can.
But still, it costs some $2000 and change..... I think every one of his receivers costs more than my radio.

He's just jealous that he doesn't have the firmware that can make his radio do what this one can. J..J..JEEEALLLLLOUS.
Only 4 aileron servos with one stick? Posh... do up pxx , then we'll see about how many servos one stick can control... muuuuahahahahaha...

Some people believe expensive = good.

There is a small degree in truth in that; when looking at typical products.

However OpenSource is difficult to measure quality against. You no longer compare apples and apples.

In our case... the hardware is... mid range (but cheap). The software is top class

Oh well... let him pay more. I on the other hand have so many 9x's and have spent so much on playing with them.. I probably could have bought that £1000 radio!!

Think of how many foamies either scratch or kit or rtf.... or even quads, or helis you can put in your hanger by not buying that $2k radio.! + lots of batteries for all of them.!

I know I have about 15 planes now, including the batteries, I dont' think it's even close to $1200 I've spent... also includes the four radios I have (all turnigy).
I can crash happy.

Oh oh... I just realized.. I haven't posted any new splash screens for a few days.. dam.. I'm slowing down...

I'll have to fix that right up... later..

Oh c**p, i didn't save the bmp as a 2colour image. It's 256 colour, thats where those dots are coming from.

My bad, looks good though.

No wait, you can reduce the number of colours yourself and save as a 2bit bmp file. Those dots will disappear.

a bit modded...will work more later
