Help needed for basic rc rover project using pixhawk

Hi, I can't get my QX7 ready to drive my rover. I have 1 motor coupled with a quicrun esc and I would like to use the spring loaded, right hand control for throttle. I use frsky XM plus for receiver connected to pixhawk for future development. My aim now is to a get the vehicle to drive forward and backward. Any help is appreciated. Please let me know. Thank you!
