Companion for Mac

I can't get OPentx Companion for Mac to download? Its an issue I find sometimes does open after download to desktop and then not. I always have to unlock my "security" to allow or try to allow its opening.
Even when Companion is opened it will not always update files from or to Companion with THE CORRECT Radio profile.
It seems the incorporated Mac boot loader simply doesn't.
HELP please
