9XR Pro - Throttle stick

Post by bivo »

Dears,

The throttle stick of my radio accelerate the motor only with 1/4 of it.
I've tried to use subtrim to solve the problem, but I need use 100% of it, which makes the stick achieve the maximum motor speed with 50% of its position.

Does anybody have any tip to solve this problem?

Obs: This happens with the original sticks and also with the Taranis sticks installed by me.

Usually that means you didn't center the stick at the first calibration step.

You centered it mechanically, right? Some people center the screen icons for some reason.

If yes, and the channel monitor on the radio shows proper movement all the way then you probably need to calibrate your ESC.

Mechanically I didnt.
I had centered through the screen icons, but the channels monitor in the screen shows the proper movement.

I also had calibrated all the ESCs I have, but remains the same. I suppose the problem could be in the mother board.

Just put the stick in the middle of the travel...

Then everything is good on the radio and it's the ESC. Maybe you need to reduce throws to 80% on the radio and recalibrate the ESC.

Perfect!

I did it with 95% and now its good.

But its strange because with 100% it doesnt work propelly.
