Hi
I noticed a recent video on YouTube by Andrew Newton using a flight controller barometer as a vario.
He used smartport to get the vertical speed from the flight controller and then selected the vario source in Open TX.

Can this be done with ersky9XT using Extreme9x?
I am using the Extreme9x TX with R9M and an Omnibus flight controller.
Smartport is via a soft serial connection.
I have selected vario on the telemetry page but I am unsure about the parameters
I have selected the source as vspd, a switch and sink tones but I'm getting no response
- can anyone explain the parameters
eg base frequency, offset frequency etc

Hi
Converted to Radiomaster with OpenTX - this gives full information on vario in flight controller.
All information readily available and works perfectly!
