Which version

Hi ive just downloaded 2.2.4 onto my horus 12s (non access model) .After first loading the latest 2.3.1 which appeared to have problems from the outset,so my question is how do i decide which is best for my radio. am i better to leave this particular unit on 2.2.4 ?
