Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to pass a Horus X10S Express from EU mode (LBT) to Non-EU (not LBT) and vice versa and how it should be done.

I have a Taranis X9D + and the process of switching from EU to Non EU and vice versa is done by recording the corresponding files "x9dpEU_mode2_20180525" or "x9dpNonEU_mode2_20180525", which can be downloaded from FRSky, in the internal transmission module of the taranis, for which one must do the following steps:
1) Copy the corresponding file to the radio's FIRMWARE directory.
2) Select the file in the FIRMWARE directory and press Enter.
3) Select and execute the Flash Internal Module option.

In principle I think that for the horus X10S the procedure has to be similar, but I can't find a file for the internal transmitter module that has the EU and non EU possibilities on the FrSky website.
I only find the file "ISRM V1.1.3"

ACCESS modules are not user-switchable anymore due to EU new requirements against that.

Then all FrSky transmitters with ACCESS protocol are factory configured in EU or Non EU mode and the user cannot modify this configuration.

To be precise ACCESS module firmware is one for all (there is no EU / non-EU). ACCST D16 mode, which is implemented in ACCESS module, has own firmware (or rather settings) - end this will be not user replaceable any more. AFAIK it should be replaceable by authorised dealers though.

Hello, I changed the script "isr_mode_1.lua" to adapt it to Horus X10 Express.
I only tried it in the Companion simulator, the presentation and keyboard part worked fine, but I couldn't test read and write of LBT-FCC mode.

Anybody actually managed to test the above script?

I have region.lua which is supposed to work under FrOS, but it is not working on X10S Express. It runs, but I cannot chose anything from drop down menu, like the menu would be empty.

I have only changed the presentation and keyboard part that did not work in horus and that part is proven, it remains to be tested in horus X10 Express.

Modification of the script to switch mode (EU / LBT <> NON EU / FCC) for the X10S Express radio has been tested by several users and in all cases it has worked correctly.
