Purpose: In addition to the normal elevator and rudder flight surfaces, many newer EDF jets also have a movable thrust nozzle to impart extra (aka extreme) control inputs. The problem is, this much control can be too much for simple flying, first learning your plane, and especially for beginners. So, here we just make the VT functions switchable. Pretty simple and obvious, but some people have asked how to do it.

Physical setup and Wiring: The first four channels remain wired as normal, AETR. If your plane comes with the VT on a Y-cable, you know what to do by this point – separate them out to their own channels. By convention, I use ch7 for my VT-Elevator and ch8 for my VT-Rudder.

Implementation: (“VT EDF Jet”)
ID0: Normal flight characteristics, no VT.
ID1: Only VT-Rudder engaged (especially for planes that don't have a normal rudder)
ID2: Full VT, elevator and rudder, engaged
I could fly so much better if a second flight wasn't a requirement....
