Hello,
I recently got a Taranis X7S Transmitter and I want to connect it as Joystick to Windows 10 via OpenTX companion V2.2.1. I cannot manage to do so. It always connects as a mass storage device. Reading settings from transmitter and writing via companion works fine. What I did:
O Turn off HF Signal settings
O Put transmitter/model in slave mode
O Select USB mode to HID in companion
Is there anything else I have to do?
Thanks for any Reply!
Best Regards,
Mathias
Cannot connect Taranis X7S as Joystick to Windows 10
Re: Cannot connect Taranis X7S as Joystick to Windows 10
Try setting USB mode to joystick on the radio itself.

Thank you for your answer! I can't find that setting directly in my Transmitter. Can you tell me where to find?
Re: Cannot connect Taranis X7S as Joystick to Windows 10
At the bottom of the first radio settings menu page.

Dear Kilrah,
thanks for your answer! My problem was that I had Companion version 2.2.1 installed on my Windows 10 PC, but firmware version 2.2.0 on the TX. That is why I could not find the USB-setting. After writing firmware 2.2.1 to my TX everything works fine!
