Turnigy 9x Momentary-Turn-Switch (broken) to a Two-Way-Switch

A little history about this 9x Radio, it belongs to a fellow RC hobbyist which I have not seen this radio for about two years.
Mike B. had helped me to replace a damaged 64 chip with the M2561 chip and this radio has the SmartieParts Rev-2.4 Programmer
and the Rev-1.8 TelemetrEZ boards.
I was having trouble connecting to eepe eeprom editor on my Win-7 desk computer and I believe the cause may be from a faulty Mini-USB connector and have replaced it with the smaller Micro-USB Type B Female Header connector.
(Note: old firmware now and will be updating the er9x for Mega2561 processor firmware)
Before I reassemble this radio, I need to replace the Momentary-Turn-Switch, which has been broken off. Do not have a Momentary-Turn-Switch on hand, so I am thinking I can replace it with a Two-Way-Switch, which I think he will be happy with.
In case I am missing something, can I use a Two-Way-Switch to replace the broken Momentary-Turn-Switch ?
