bandgap

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

... so if i re-calibrate the battery voltage, should i or do i need the bandgap off or on?

What battery are you using? The bandgap is mainly of use if your battery is around 7 volts. Without the bandgap, if the battery drops below 7 volts you get an incorrect reading, and think all is OK when actually it isn't.

i'm using a 2s 2200mah with the low v warning set to 7.5v, so i suppose i should have it off.

Mike, on my new tx the Bandgap reads 240. Is that ok??

For 2S I'd recommend enabling the bandgap. When the battery drops below around 7 volts, the displayed voltage actually rises, without the bandgap, even though the actual battery voltage is dropping.

240 sounds fine to me.

when i enabled bandgap, main screen v reading went from 8.3 to 8.0. actual v is 8.38, so i recalibrated v back to 8.3v. b/gap is 251. hopefully i did the right thing.
