Just an fyi, jpegs can't be mono chrome (2 bit, black and white, they contain full pallette info) , it might be wise to stay away from them as an input file, depending on the compression, the artifacting may cause the final image to be poopy.

Just something to think about, otherwise, there may be why does my splash screen have pixels the original image didn't have? etc.etc.etc.

How about 5 frame animation?

What's the chance you would want to wait through an animation on starting the tx? I personally always switch it off because I don't like the delay!

It's the uniquness factor. I'd have it on when I get to the feild and show off to the other fellows and gals, then turn it off.. for sure. It's becasue you can, that's all.

isn't the how to here already? I`m writing up how to make an image in Paint shop Pro. (steps on creating a usable image from a 16mill colour image down to a 2bit 124x64 bw image that will look decent)

Yes I saw those already and those are awesome, but what I meant that one could be even without the er9x on it. Just he plane and heli or jet and apache and etc.

Here is the hex file that has the "Your radio sucks" splash screen. Just use eepe to extract it and insert it into you own flash file.

But I dont understand the Samba and the Companion Software always gives me an error on the uploading part. Got any advice

Well what size would that be? I got it off this forum. I've never done this before. The editor displays it fine in Companion9x. I have no idea how to get it on the radio. Would be easy if I could use EEPE. An assist would be grateful.

And , you can get the size by loading any one of the images that are attached to the posts above.

128x64 is the image size.
