anyone know how to set up a servo to continuously move so I can range check?

Go to templates. You have a servo tester there.
Or, my favorite and easier in my opinion, go to custom switches:

S1 TimeOff 6 On 6 RUD

Now in the mixer pick up a channel

CH8 100% FULL switch (S1) slow (up 4 : down 4)

Activate the rudder switch and CH8 will go from -100 to 100 in 4 seconds, wait 2 seconds, and back to -100 again. Make sure the servo is not reaching its mechanical limits or it could be damaged. If so reduce the channel limits in the limits menu.
