tgy 9x + Frsky vario setup

Post by tommy80 »

I have problem with setting up parameters for Frsky vario (high precision) on my 9x radio, as I'm getting beeps only on very very strong lifts, and would like to gain the precision. Readings on A2 channel seems to be good and accurate. I guess the Limit parameter should be the one for adjusting, but those parameters has almost no effect if I'm changing it.

Here are my current settings:
Range: 10.1m/s
Offset: -5.06m/s

Vario
Source A2
Limit -0.1 3

BTW.
Values for Limit adjustment have range -1.0 to 2.0 and 3 to 17

my firmware version is:
SVN: opentx-r2834

On OpenTX you do not want to use A2 for vario, you use source: Vario
A2 is a low resolution "patch" needed for use only with FrSky's FLD-02 screen. With the telemetry mod it is useless as the data is transmitted digitally in the hub protocol.
