I agree...
In fact, he was very unlucky with this order, as he got into the "new year peak" issue and waited for his shipment for the whole 3 months. And when he got it - it was in that state... He probably shouldn't have accepted the shipment at all, so that they just return it to HK. But he had FrSky RF module in that order as well (which arrived Ok, at least without physical damages), so he decided he will better take it 'as is' rather than spend several more months waiting for a refund or for another parcel.
Considering the situation, he doesn't put much hopes into HK's customer support (although he will place a claim).
So he's looking for possible ways to get his radio working... An alternative way would be to order another 9XR, and keep this one for spares...
