Argh, that forum resizing without keeping aspect ratio is awful ;)

WOW! That's nice! :)

I don't know much about FPV but am I correct that you have head tracking there?

Is that video quality same what you see in ground or did you have separate stream for that?

Yep I do have head tracking there. The video is recorded in HD onboard, and sent down in SD, still very good though.

I don't know exactly, I bought it that way. It's some sugru-like insulating material...

Gee, chopped off pilot head to do FPV. cruel!

Suguru. good idea to strengthen that CL.
I see you have 3 camera shooting. Is the vid recorded by onboard camera with built in dvr or it is recorded on the ground station?
The sharp vid image is not what you see in the goggle right?
I have a 1200mm p-51 almost like yours waiting for that 20mW Tx. ;)
But, mine has a sliding canopy.

From the wing cam seeing the head tracking cam doing, looks like you are shaking your head with music while flying. ;) Are you playing background music with open9x there?

Hope I can do the take off and landing with googles like that. ;)

Oh wow that's your P-51! Awesome mate - you're the video I watched that convinced me to get back into RC planes :-) I was heading towards the something something dark side (quad fpv) but this video convinced me otherwise :-) After I re-learn the ropes and get used to electric flight with my Bix - this or a similar model is on my shopping list for FPV :-)

I got in a couple more flights today on my "Ferocious Frankie" but I don't do FPV. And I certainly didn't cut off poor old Frankie's head! :o

Nice mods and great video, thanx.

Cool, happy to give some motivation!

Quads are fun too of course, no dark side here ;)

This is mine, for openTx. Makes use of flight modes to have separate trims when gear is down. Gear is RUD switch, flaps are ID0/1/2.
