Replacement Sticks

Post by Rob Thomson »

If you are up for a replacement of the 'sticks' on your 9x radio, there are plenty option options to choose.

For example:

http://www.r2hobbies.com/eng/proddetail ... 26002_code
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... duct=12219

What is key is that you get a stick with a 3mm thread.

Now for general reference:

Futaba Replacement Sticks normally have a 3mm thread
JR Replacement Sticks normally have a 4mm thread
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

Those are knobs, not sticks Rob ;)
I wonder if anyone tried fitting Aurora 9 gimbals in a TGY9X yet?
Expensive I know, but would be the icing on the cake I reckon!

I was looking at those gimbals too but I can't seem to find any dimensions on them. $20 and I would buy them no problem but $40 is just a bit too high for something that may not work for me at all.
