Those are the same as the eflight 2s batteries. I recently got some, I will check it out when I get home later today. If no one else beats me to it of course. :)

I would just solder a new servo lead connector on to the back board.... :-)
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

what about connecting a servo lead directly to the connector on the radio? any chances of bad contact there?
I'm asking because the LiFe 1500mAH battery already comes with a servo plug..

Thanks. I don't think this connector has been discussed for spares, only options for replacing it with other types.
The stock 9x connector has been OK but I you only get one one the dry pack. I usually cut it off and use it to make a polarized adapter that matches the connector on my/their battery of choice. Doing that upfront saves the reversed smoke condition that can/does happen later on. I hate those phone calls!

FYI
I'm in the process of doing a full 9x upgrade, no voice, for a club member. His second one! I line to use various polarized connectors on the BL, telemetry connections, and haptic. This makes servicing or future mods so much easier since the case halve can be totally separated. I use servo type and the orange jst's.
I'm on the fence about offering to do the voice update until I can come up with a clean install. This being that I'll most likely be supporting these upgrade for club members for a long time if I want to keep is all happy.
Any ideas on a clean voice upgrade anyone?

I've used the servo plug on my batteries since I have a 9x. No issues. It's best to leave the original white plug on the radio as this helps holding and prevents inserting the battery connector shifted and reversing polarity.

but with a servo connector I guess it is not possible to reverse the polarity, right?

It's not if you leave the white plastic, as I said.
If you remove it, then you have 3 "naked" pins on the radio, and you can plug the battery connector "shifted" by one pin to the left or right, and reverse polarity.

You would remove it if you put the other half of the servo connector in it's place. I did that on one of mine. It is much easier to connect also when you can pull it out.

put the male servo connector with only 2 wires in there is probably the safest way. no way of reversing polarity, if by accident you force the reversed plug in, all it does is 'no connect', since 3rd wire is not connected at all.

Jhsa: since you are so much into modding. add a balancing lead and use a PS2 (or mini din) connector. you never have to open the batt back again to balance charge. There is a 3rd two wire connector for charging on that LiFe. There is enough room for the balancing plug and servo plug to go into the batt compartment with that LiFe pack. I have not opened up that batt door since I put it in. ;) and I also use the same PS2 charging adapter to connect to/power my FPV goggle too. no extra batt pack for goggles. ;)

But now with the Ersky9x board's audio, which takes more current than without audio (especially with the background music capability online), and to power the goggle, I think I have to make 2 2500 mah 3S into 3 2S 2500 mah batt for music playing.
