Filament sticking to printing-surface can be a big trouble.
Magnetic base flexible build sheet plates with PEI coating is the normal way go in 2023.
But some times with some prints there can still be difficulties with bonding to the print-surface.
Here is a new product from TH3D which works like the more expensive bands.

Re: New TH3D Bed Cement (3D Printing)
You may not have had trouble finding where the Bed-Cement application-pad is, but I did
and because, when I unscrewed the cap and moved the shipping seal the application-pad was no where to be found.
There is no instructions and/or photos to show where the application-pad is hidden.
I asked TH3D "Tor" for help and he said, it just pops off, which I believe he was not understanding where my trouble was.
It did take some time to learn how the cap, which does have a very tight grip (seal) to the application-pad part,
which is contained inside the screw-on cap.
As I tighten the cap on I could feel it getting or near to the breaking point,
so I stopped tightening the cap as it was not breaking free (slipping from its grasp).
After some time, I pulled up on the cap while tightening.
And the top part of the cap broke free and the the blue-application-pad was fully exposed.
So if/when you receive you very first Bed-Cement bottle, unscrew the cap and remove the shipping seal,
and then screw the cap back ON and when it becomes tight pull up while continuing to tighten the cap
and it should break free and pop off for you.
