Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
Hello,
After installing the Access Upgrade Module Kit (Didn't replace the PARA module yet) I've change the Open TX firmware to 2.3 Horus 10 Express.
After all, turning on the Tx I'm getting Wrong PCB Detected message.
What can be wrong
Thank you very much
Rotem

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
What's wrong is that you don't have an X10 Express, so that's not the firmware you need...
You need standard X10, with internalaccess option selected.

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
For now it is only available in the 2.3.3 nightly builds.
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
OK... How can I download it?
If I'm buying a new Horus 10 Express board then I can use the Open Tx Open TX for Horus 10 Express or other boards should be replaced?
Thank you

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
OpenTX website, 2.3.3 nightlies post, download companion, install and configure it to download from the nightlies channel.
I'm not sure if the motherboard connections are identical. Anyway by replacing the only thing you would gain is ACCESS support for the external module.

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
So currently there is no official OpenTX firmware for the Horus 10s Express?
Thank you

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
There is official firmware for the X10 Express, yes.
There is none yet for the "old X10 with upgraded module" due to FrSky having made this upgrade module different from the one that is built in to the X10 Express, and them having gone through some trouble with it that was only solved a couple of days ago. The way they solved it required changes on OpenTX side, so it cannot yet be in a release.

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
So I tried to use the opentx with the nightly build that is compatiable with the upgraded module for the old x10s with frsky isrm frimware installed and it still gives me a warning/stop with the message "Invalid Board". I am not sujre what I am doing wrong.
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
You probably still left the radio type on X10 Express, or wrote the wrong file?
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
No I have it as x10s (non-express) with the accessinternal checked.
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
What's the name of the file you're flashing?
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected

Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
Hi, Is there any further updates to this issue or have Frsky dumped support for the upgraded x10s transmitters....if not then I will be moving to another brand as this sucks.....adios Frsky!!!!!
Re: Horus 10S Wrong PCB Detected
The error mentioned here can't be caused by FrSky...
