Taranis X9D buddy box/trainer with Taranis X9 lite

Hello

I have a Taranis X9D and my friend has a Taranis X9 lite.
I use buddy box/ trainer and my XMTR is set as Master and his as Slave.
I have it working but I have a question about settings in Slave XMTR- Tatranis X9 lite.

In trainer mode I have selected replace when I switch over to student.

If you setup model in slave XMTR as "trainer", and you put expo in it, will this be ad up with my settings in master XMTR Taranis X9D.
I have expo dialed in for example 30% on elevator and aileron and also in his XMTR we have expo 25% on elevator and aileron.

Yes it will add up, the slave should have a straightforward model with no settings.
